The Former Brazil and Real Madrid Right fullback
Roberto Carlos, famous for his boom boom free kicks and shots,
has officially put an end to his playing days, the Anzhi
Makhachkala player made this known on Wednesday.

The 2002 World Cup winner, who joined the wealthy
Russian Premier League club in February 2011, has not
played since being taken off the team’s squad in
March.
“Roberto had been a world class player, but
unfortunately he doesn’t play any more,” said former
Russia boss Guus Hiddink, who was appointed Anzhi
coach in February.

He was raised at provincial club Uniao Sao Joao, he went on to make his name in Brazil during three seasons with Palmeiras, moved to Inter Milan for one season and then Real
Madrid, where he spent 11 seasons.

The Brazil wonderkid did the famous Usain Bolt lightning pose after running down the sideline seconds after he scored a wonderfully struck free kick as Brazil defeated Belarus on Sunday helping the gold medal favorites to a 3-1 win.


It was foe Bolt, we did his celebration, the 20 year old said. Neymar has his own legion of fans showing up everywhere he was, but even before heading to the London games he had said he was hoping to meet his Idol, Bolt.

He was looking forward to get an autograph and a photo shot with the Jamaica, who will be competing in the Olympics later.

Serena Williams wins her fifth Wimbledon title

Serena Williams has won her fifth Wimbledon title after beating Agnieszka Radwanska in a pulsating encounter. The world no. 6 defeated the Pole who is ranked above her at no. 3.

The american was said to be the underdog prior to the match based on current ranking but that was not the case as she eventually over powered the pole.

Winning the contest 6-1, 5-7 and 6-2. The pole showed intelligence from her very first game to her very first grand slam finals but lost to a more experienced Serena.
