GOVERNOR ATTACKED BUT COMES OUT UNHURT.

It was reported that the Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State was unhurt after some gunmen attacked his convoye while on campaign at Ovia South West Local Government Area of Edo State with the town of Usen, this was comfirmed by the Commissioner for information and Orientation, Mr. Louis Odion.He explained that at about 6pm, the governor's convoy ran into a blockcade. The security attachments were trying to create a way through when

they were opened fire upon by gunmen with heavy weapons.however they were able to protect the governor and other ACN chieftains with in the convoy. Riddled with bullets were Landcruisers (Toyota), Corolla (Toyota) which were badly destroyed.

The Edo State government has frawned at this development asking the PDP National Leadership to demand its members to keep away from such acts that threantens the lofe of the Governor.Staying calm and law abiding is what the state government asks from the peace loving people of Edo State, with just few weeks to the polls.
